AIR BUD

The Air Bud model is a revolutionary polycotton inflatable tent requiring no central pole and using Air Beam technology - it's the smallest version of the Lotus Belle, 3 metres in diameter with standing height in the middle. The porch is included as standard.

The Lotus Air Bud is designed with easy camping and festivals in mind - it should not be pitched on a semi-permanent basis and should be used for a few days' camping here and there. It is not designed for long-term pitching. It comes inside a "wheelie" backpack for easy transport and storage.

The Lotus Air Bud utilises air pole technology which means it has no metal poles. It inflates in less than 5 minutes, is extremely sturdy, durable and you can stand up inside. This is a 2 - 3 person tent, with space for bags and so on, or a palace for one!

Hari says ... "I think it is my favourite thing I've designed ever yet. So easy to put up and take down, really its the best thing ever when you just want to get home at the end of a rainy weekend. And the water just beads off the canvas like magic, its amazing".

  • Our bespoke canvas [200 GSM fire, water and rot resistant]
  • Seal in ‘bath tub’ style ground sheet [420 GSM PVC]
  • Air Beam technology - so no poles!
  • 2 zipped mesh windows layers with zipped canvas roll down blinds
  • 1 large zipped doorways with zipped mesh (fly screen) layer
  • Roof vent
  • 2.4m height in middle
  • Porch included in price

In a review of our Air Bud from Derek Adams for T3 Magazine he says: "This exceedingly well-designed polycotton air tent not only looks glamorous in any setting, but its low condensation, stupendous rigidity and airy interior make it suitable for camping all year round."

I love this tent

The air bud is amazing, I already have the original bud, but the air makes it so easy to put up, peg it out, pump up the beams and then peg out the guy lines. It comes with laminated instructions, a proper lump hammer and an air pump - all the bits in the bag, just needs wheels to make it easier to move as I am rather small. Glamping in style. just awaiting an inner/bed room to use it in the winter.

Thrilled with Purchase!

I just wanted to say thank you for the great service and that we absolutely love our Air Bud!

I was a little hesitant (because its a lot of money to spend in one go and because my garden is only 9m x 5m (max) including the boarders, so wasn’t entirely sure it would fit) but my fear of loss if you went out of stock was more overwhelming 😊.

It is every bit as beautiful as I had hoped, so easy to put up, the instructions were really clear and it feels enormous inside!

I’m really glad it has a mesh inner door. I don’t think that is on the description on your website and that was the only thing that I was putting me off a bit.

The bunting is up, ‘beds’ installed and my daughter, our dachshund and I had our first brilliant night’s sleep in it last night.

I’m thrilled with my purchase thank you.

Fantastic tents

I love the Air Belles. We now own an Air Bud, an Air Belle and a Stargazer! We can’t get enough of these tents. They are such a lovely design and really well made. Our guests love them!

My Purple Airbud

These tents are lovely. Really fast and easy to put up. They look great and turn heads.
I have had a plain white/cream one for a few year then bought a second purple one.
We have our own glamping kit, inflatable air bed, duvet, crochet blankets and hippy cushions. We always decorate the outside with bunting and fake flowers.
Easy to stand up in and the air tubes create a later of insulation that keeps the tent warm at night.

Mobile glamping

We love our Airbud because it’s a proper little glamping tent (head height is important for comfort) yet is perfectly car portable. It goes up really quickly, and we put all the guys to one set of pegs as we don’t camp up mountains in gales. The inner lining is a really nice plus, yes, it really is silky, but what I like most is that it gives the illusion that the tent just stays up; ‘where are the airbeams?’ I think it adds warmth (logically it would) as this morning it was notably colder out than in. We have a roof cover just to keep it ‘clean’; ‘glamping’ sites must use them as they protect tents that are up from spring through autumn from the UV (much as I wear a hat to do the same) but our tent is a weekender so UV is less of sa issue, but bird droppings and soggy leaf fall are. I think our ‘Bud’ will outlast us. I take the roofcover from our 5m classic Lotus Belle (not really portable, more of our garden gin palace) and pitch it using a three metre telescopic awning pole and some spare pegs, it makes a large ‘matching’ living space joining our ‘Bud’. Now that’s really ‘glamping’. The nylon roof covers are pretty cheap and make a great accessory, and once more if it’s just an ‘add on’ for camping trips rather than up all season it’ll last a decade. Hopefully I can upload a photo and give you a clue, it’s our Airbud with the aforesaid 5metre roof cover as our living space. PS the tent, liner, roof covers, pump all fit in the one bag as we don’t take the porch, if we pack carefully…..

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our Airbud Peter - you certainly have a Lotus Belle collection and we love that! Once again, super helpful tips shared and we look forward to hearing many more over the years :) x The Lotus Belle Team
